Regional Sales Representative

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Representative to develop and oversee our sales operations across specific
districts/territories throughout the US. As a Regional Sales Rep, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base, achieving sales quotas, and ensuring the success of our business objectives within your assigned territory. To be successful in this role, you will enjoy visiting our retail partners within your territory and assist with merchandising, order replenishment, planogram and merchandising.
1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Create regional sales plans and quotas aligned with business objectives.
- Evaluate store and individual performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Forecast quarterly and annual revenue, profits.
- Analyze regional market trends and identify growth opportunities; build out promotional calendar
for seasonal or key dates. - Analyze and grow store assortments by product type, category or brand.
2. Performance Evaluation and Reporting:
- Evaluate store and individual performances.
- Report on regional sales results with actionable items to
- Address potential problems promptly and suggest solutions.
3. Strategic Thinking and Innovation:
- Suggest new merchandising wall, spinner or inline merchandising programs to align with
store goals. - Contribute to long-term business success.
4. Travel and Store Visits:
- Monthly travel to visit all stores within your assigned territory.
- Conduct store visits to assess performance, provide support, and gather insights.
- Create exciting merchandising presentations within the stores space allotment.
5. Newly Created Role:
- This position is newly created, and we are looking for an individual who can help define and
shape the role further. - Collaborate with senior management to refine responsibilities and contribute to the role's evolution.
Requirements
● Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Rep, Area Manager, Merchandiser or similar sales
role.
● Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
● Familiarity with CRM software.
● Understanding of store operations.
● Excellent communication skills.
● Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
● Availability to travel as needed.
● B.S. degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
