Job Overview

We’re seeking a creative, camera-ready, and strategically minded Social Media Specialist/Talent to lead and represent our brand across digital platforms. This role combines content creation, influencer-style on-camera presence, and data-driven social media strategy to grow and engage our online audience.


Responsibilities As a Social Media Specialist:

  • Create original content for posts, stories, and videos that align with the brand’s identity and campaign objectives
  • Curate relevant content to enhance campaigns and ensure it fits seamlessly with ODD SOX’s messaging.
  • Manage and schedule all content to ensure campaigns are perfectly timed and executed.
  • Design graphics using Photoshop for posts, stories, and other digital campaigns. and produce short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly.
  • Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, providing insights to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and platform updates, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align content with overall campaigns.
  • Develop, execute, and optimize multi-platform social media strategies (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, etc.)

As On-Camera Talent:


  • Appear in and/or host brand videos, livestreams, and other content as needed
  • Represent the brand with authenticity, energy, and professionalism
  • Participate in scripting and brainstorming sessions for short- and long-form video content
  • Interact with followers via live chat, comments, and Q&A sessions
  • Act as a relatable face of the brand while promoting products, services, or campaigns
  • Monitor trends, hashtags, audio, and formats to keep content relevant and engaging
  • Plan and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing goals
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and generate actionable insights
  • Collaborate with marketing, design, and video teams to ensure brand consistency

Qualifications


  • Proficiency in Photoshop (required).
  • Basic video editing skills (required).
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other major platforms (required).
  • 1+ year of experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later) and analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights).
  • Strong writing and communication skills with a creative flair.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively.
  • A passion for social media and an eye for emerging trends.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
